Nystatin Topical (Mycostatin, Nilstat)

  Description:

  • Antifungal

  Indications:

  • Cutaneous Candidiasis

  • Mucocutaneous Candidiasis

  Contraindications:

  • Not for ophthalmic use

Precautions:

  • Pregnancy category A

  • For external use only, avoid eyes.

  • Cleanse and dry area before application.

  • Wash hands after application.

Adverse Reactions (Side Effects):

  • Relatively non-toxic, no significant adverse reactions.

Dosage:

  • Administered as an ointment, cream or powder

  • Apply to affected areas 2-3 times a day until healing is complete
